New Plastic Free Kitchen Essential is here!

by 9 Dec 2020

We’d like to introduce our new plastic-free item!

Binchotan charcoal water filter

Binchotan charcoal water filter is a natural & sustainable way to purify your tap water.

You can use it as a replacement for the disposable plastic filters which inevitably contribute to the single-use plastic cycle!

It is 100% natural, organic, biodegradable and compostable.
You can use it over and over again for up to 6 months!

How does this work???

Binchotan, also known as white charcoal is a high quality activated carbon.
Due to the micro-porous structure, it can absorbs chlorine, heavy metals and other chemicals from tap water and remove its unpleasant taste and odour, while releasing beneficial natural minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium and iron.

How do you use???

It’s simple!
Just place the charcoal in a jug of water for 3 – 4 hours (or even better if left overnight), then you can enjoy cleaner, fresher & healthier water!

Bichotan can be reused up to about 6 months by boiling it for 10 minutes every 3 – 4 weeks to wash out the absorbed chemicals and freshen it up.

At the end of the use (after 6 months), you can still reuse it for many other purposes such as

– Removing odour from your shoes, closet or fridge

– Freshen indoor air, absorb dampness in wardrobes and cupboards

– Eliminating electrical waves next to the laptop and all the electronic devices.

– Breaking it into small pieces and placing in the garden soil to improve the flow of water and create air cavities for healthier plant

This water filter is nothing to be wasted!!!
